Meet Dr. Pan

Dr. Michael Pan is a board-certified dermatologist and hair restoration surgeon based in Los Angeles, California. Trained intensively by Dr. Mohebi himself, Dr. Pan is proud to offer the highest standard of artistry and surgical precision to restore a natural youthful hairline that even a hair stylist should not recognize.  Dr. Pan believes hair restoration can be life-changing and is passionate about improving the confidence of his patients by helping them look their absolute best.

As a board-certified dermatologist with an expertise in hair loss, Dr. Pan has treated hundreds of patients with a wide variety of hair loss conditions including androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern baldness), alopecia areata, cicatricial (scarring) alopecia, and others. During your consultation, Dr. Pan will perform a comprehensive examination of your scalp and hair quality. Utilizing both surgical and non-surgical solutions, Dr. Pan will then work together with you to formulate a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals and medical history and design a natural hairline suited to your unique facial features, ethnicity, and age.  As hair loss is often a lifelong process, Dr. Pan maintains a close relationship with his patients long after the initial procedure, offering continuous medical advice to maintain their native and transplanted hair. Most importantly, he enjoys witnessing the profound impact hair restoration can have on his patients’ personal and professional lives.

Dr. Pan’s Training

Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Pan spent more than a decade in New York City training in the nation’s top programs. He received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Columbia University before matriculating at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for his medical degree, graduating with a distinction in research. He continued at Mount Sinai Hospital for his dermatology residency, serving as chief resident in his final year. Before joining Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, Dr. Pan was on faculty at the Dermatology Residency Training Program at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, teaching and mentoring residents and students in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

In his free time, Dr. Pan enjoys weightlifting, live music, and exploring Los Angeles with his dog.
