Meet Dr. Manu Gujrati
Whether you know him as Dr. Gujrati, or simply as “Dr. G” as many of his patients affectionately call him, our new San Francisco Office Medical Director brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience that gives his patients the hairline they have always desired. Dr. G is an experienced hair restoration specialist, based in our San Francisco hair restoration center, and he is acknowledged by his peers for his skills and ability to provide permanent hair transplant results that are also undetectable to the eye.
Every patient is different and the final goals they have in mind when it comes to hair restoration might not be the same as others who also want to address thinning hair or bald patches on the scalp. As part of the consultation appointment process, Dr. G takes the time to listen to his patients and learn more about their hair restoration goals as well as their overall reasons for wanting to gain a fuller hairline along with increased density to their hair.

The decision to join our San Francisco office was not one that Dr. G rushed into as he wanted to make sure he was the right fit for the position. Dr. Gujrati Medical Training and Background
Dr. G conducted his initial medical schooling at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern University itself. His studies continued with an internship in general surgery as well as a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky – Chandler Medical Center. Dr. G followed his residency with a Fellowship in hair restoration surgery at the Alabama Hair Institute.
Over the course of his career, Dr. G has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors related to his education and research efforts. In addition, Dr. G has been involved with scientific hair restoration meetings on an international level.
