Noe Valley Hair Transplant

Noe Valley is an upscale neighborhood located in the heart of San Francisco. It is protected from fog and wind by the nearby Twin Peaks. The peaks afford Noe with a little more sun, a little more warmth. So its residents believe. Their testimony is respectable, for this part of the city is also home to a number of young professionals who drive in life’s fast lane. Many of them are already married with children; in fact, Noe Valley has earned the nickname “stroller Valley” due to the number of kids at play in its streets.

Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration’s patients appreciate the fact that we can usually conduct hair transplant surgery in just one day, and have them back to work on the day following. The perk is no different for Noe Valley folk, most of whom readily tell us they do not wish to take much time off. Nor do they need worry. And while our staff is efficient, it is certainly not rushed or frantic. Perish the thought. All of our patients receive professional care, with board certified surgeons to conduct all Noe Valley hair transplant procedures.

Fun Things To Do Here Between Appointments

Like Noe Valley itself, the surrounding area is family friendly, and rife with activities for the adventure-seeker. There are gift shops, bookstores, specialty restaurants, tea rooms, and various curio shops where one can purchase items from all over the world.

Bring a child with you to Seward Mini Park—that is, if you intend to try the vertiginous concrete slides  the park is known for, you will first have to pass a sign that says:  No adults unless accompanied by a child. No matter how old you are, you will want to try these things at least once.

Less than a mile north of Noe Valley is the very Christmas-y Tom and Jerry’s House. There are more than just a few twinkling lights and tufts of snow powder to be found here. Indeed, the place looks more like a movie set for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The tree out front—covered with lights and ornaments—is 60 feet high. Around it hang giant stuffed animals, clockwork toys, humongous stockings, candy-canes, dolls, ribbons…and really, this place needs to be seen to be believed. Every December it attracts thousands of guests.

Different Treatments For Different Needs

No two hair transplant patients are ever precisely alike. Some have curly hair, others straight. Male pattern baldness is our most common enemy, but certainly not the only one. Following an initial consultation, every patient is treated according to his or her specific issue. Indeed, we find out a lot at the consultation. We will ask about your overall health, lifestyle, medications you may be using, and what your expectations are. We will also conduct a microscopic scalp exam to discover how healthy your existing follicles are, and how much further the balding may progress.

The surgery itself is almost completely painless, and takes anywhere from 4 to 10 hours. During that time we make sure you are totally relaxed. You will even be able to chat with staff, and ask as many questions about the procedure as you like.
