The Laxometer increases a hair transplant surgeon’s accuracy and helps to minimize the size of the scar on a person’s scalp. This device is now a standard tool used by many hair restoration surgeons throughout the world.

After completing his internship at the University of North Dakota, Dr. Mohebi served in surgical residency at the University of New Mexico and York Hospitals. He also furthered his medical studies pursuing an interest in surgical research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Surgical Sciences. While at Johns Hopkins, he conducted several studies on wound healing and hair growth; in these studies he used growth factors and gene therapy methods. Dr. Mohebi also completed a fellowship in surgical hair restoration at New Hair Institute (NHI). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.
