Albany Hair Transplant

On the east shore of San Francisco Bay rests Albany. It is a community of about 20,000 people. Its roots lie in the rebellion against trash from Berkeley being dumped here as if it were nothing more than a garbage can. That had to stop—and in 1908, it did stop, when a group of community ladies armed with shotguns told the Berkeley men to turn their trash wagons around and go home. The men hastily complied. Today the area is much more quiet, with good schools, low crime, and laid-back streets. As with many San Francisco area neighborhoods, it features its fair share of coffee shops, restaurants, and parks. This is by no means a bad thing, especially on weekends, when many of Albany’s residents meet at these places to relax and enjoy some downtime.

Our Albany hair transplant patients do not necessarily let hair loss affect their self-esteem, or induce worry about how others may see them. Rather, they seem more concerned about the projection of strength and good health. Or as one patient told us during a consultation:  Old age is a lot of things—hirsute is not one of them.

Some Things To Do In A Happy Place

Should you ever find yourself with some extra time in Albany, one of the stranger activities on your list would surely be a visit to the Albany Bulb. Once a landfill until it closed in 1987, this bizarre strip of wetland overlooking San Francisco Bay is home to many graffiti artists and sculptors. From the latter you will find pieces ranging from dragons to castles to—wait for it—concrete televisions. To call the Albany Bulb “weird” is sort of like calling the Statue Of Liberty tall. Sometimes the obvious is, well, just too obvious to point out.

Find imported specialty foods from all over the world at the Pacific East Mall. This Asian supermarket chain is rife with restaurants, bakeries, boutiques, and beauty salons. Go to sate your palate’s global cravings; stay for the shopping at unique little stores found nowhere else.

A short drive to the southeast of Albany brings you to the open fields of Cedar Rose Park. Frisbees, dogs, baseballs, kites, kids, and a whole host of other fun things are always flying about here. That is because there is so much room to run. You will also find convenient picnic areas snuggled up against cozy playgrounds where the kids can burn off some calories.

Feel Young Again With A Hair Transplant

We are long past the days when getting a hair transplant meant walking away from the clinic looking like a Chatty Cathy doll. Tremendous advancements in both follicular unit transplantation and follicular unit extraction have put an end to bunched up groupings of tightly implanted hair. After a procedure with Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, you will not feel like jumping on stage to sing Crocodile Rock in a wacky pair of oversize glasses.

Instead, you will have thick, healthy, natural hair that will be fully in place after just one year. For FUE in particular, we utilize many different techniques, depending on a patient’s needs and/or expectations. At your initial consultation we will perform a scalp exam that will help determine which hairs are best suited for harvesting. The exam also gives us an idea of how much further your hair loss can be expected to progress. From here, a treatment plan is developed to restore your lost hair.

Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration is your clinic to turn to for the most modern, effective hair transplant surgery. Our board certified doctors are trained in complex techniques to reverse pattern baldness in patients of all races and genders. Call us today at (415) 997-6126 for more information.
