Showering After Hair Transplant

Dr. Mohebi, I know it is in the instructions but I am a little obsessive as you may have gathered: when can I start showering regularly again with washing of the recipient and donor sites. I have followed the special shampooing instructions for two days since the surgery.

We understand your anxiousness. Many patients take a long time to move forward with hair restoration surgery. And if you are like them you have a lot riding on the successful outcome. The good thing is that the natural proven results experienced form Hair Transplantation is the norm not the rarity. At day 5 post surgery you can resume normal washing of the hair. If you still have significant scabbing you need to continue washing your head twice a day until the scabs are gone.
