As hair transplant surgeons we are improving the quality of grafts through better harvesting techniques. These advancements allow for the number of grafts that can be harvested and transplanted in one hair restoration surgery session to improve too. Today, transplanting over 4000 grafts in a single surgical session is not out of reach. Maximizing the number of grafts that can be transplanted in one session may prove beneficial to your practice. We will discuss how to initiate gigasession hair transplant procedures in your practice without jeopardizing the safety of patients.
We will review patient selection and the delicacies for gigasessions including the patients examination for determining their qualifications to undergo a gigasession hair transplant procedure. The proper application of Laxometer in scalp laxity assessment is also reviewed. In addition we will also discuss the role or scalp exercise and the proper manner of instruction for patients.
