Meet Dr. Straga
Dr. Jeanette Straga is a fellowship trained hair transplant surgeon who is well regarded by her peers for her attention to detail as well as her artistic flare and skillful manner when it comes to performing hair restoration.
Dr. Straga graduated with honors from Kent State University where she obtained a B.A. with a dual major in Biology and Pre-Med along with a Psychology Minor. Her Masters studies in Biomedical Science were undertaken at Barry University in Miami, FL prior to obtaining her Doctorate at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami. Dr. Straga initially completed a Medicine internship at the University of Southern Alabama in Mobile before completing her residency in Neurology at the University of Texas in Galveston. Her fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology was conducted at the prestigious New York Eye & Ear Infirmary and Cleveland Clinic followed by another fellowship at University of Southern California/LAC in Neurophysiology. Dr. Straga received Board Certification in Aesthetic Medicine and has practiced cosmetic/aesthetic medicine for years which includes a variety of facial rejuvenation procedures. Dr. Straga completed fellowship training at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration with internationally renowned hair transplant surgeon, Dr. Parsa Mohebi.
Dr. Straga is experienced in many other aesthetic procedures within the realm of hair restoration including scalp micropigmentation, female hair loss and laser hair restoration. She currently serves as the principal investigator in several ongoing hair/dermatologic/cosmetic related studies. Dr. Straga’s main research interest is in new FUE hair restoration technology and she has been collaborating with Dr. Mohebi in many of the pioneering techniques evolved and practiced at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration.
